8.1 Panyangara to Amla, OUT, length delivery outside off which does enough to get an inside-edge off Amla's bat and go on to hit the stumps. Just snuck through the gate really. Tinashe goes down onto the ground after and does his rendition of the Singing Bass fish (Google it folks)
HM Amla b Panyangara 11 (36m 26b 1x4 0x6) SR: 42.30
20.2 Kamungozi to de Villiers, OUT, gives this plenty of air as AB doesn't hesitate to go after him, because, after all, he is AB. Lifts this one high over long off, but doesn't have all of it as Ervine, skirting the boundary rope, is able to take the catch with his left hand, then, realising he was going over, leaps in the air while throwing the ball back over to the field of play, and then stepping back once he has gathered himself to complete the take as it came down. Wonderful presence of mind and fielding effort on the boundary as the old adage is proven once more: Catches win matches.
AB de Villiers c Ervine b Kamungozi 25 (53m 36b 1x4 1x6)
45.6 Panyangara to Miller, 1 run, and he becomes the second 2015 World Cup centurion to join Aaron Finch as Seddon Park stands to applaud a wonderful, counter-attacking effort. Picks up the special milestone, which is also his WC debut hundred, with a clip through midwicket. Outstanding batting from Miller. Play on Killa'
49.1 Panyangara to Duminy, FOUR, talk about one of the more ballsy ways to get to your hundred as he elects to go with the paddle flick over his head and down fine leg to pick up a boundary through the region. JP exhales in celebration as he lifts both arms in the air and looks to the heavens. Has been a wonderful knock to support the Miller special
6.2 Philander to Sikandar Raza, OUT, and Philander gets things going for South Africa with a length delivery on a tighter line closer to off stump as Raza ends up chopping this one onto the stumps, with his feet rooted in place. Raza's brief stint comes to a close
Sikandar Raza b Philander 5 (27m 13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 38.46
23.6 Imran Tahir to Chibhabha, OUT, and Tahir makes the crucial breakthrough for South Africa as Chamu departs the oval after mishitting a slice over extra-cover, with this one dying just before the rope where the fielder was staioned. JP is able to keep himself within the playing field and take this. Ends a spirited knock from the Zimbabwean opener
CJ Chibhabha c Duminy b Imran Tahir 64 (93m 82b 10x4 0x6)
32.6 Imran Tahir to Masakadza, OUT, Tahir has landed the big one as he removes Hamilton with one which turns away as the batsman looked to get it away through midwicket before offering a leading edge which spoons harmlessly to Amla at cover, who takes it with glee. Leaves the oval with 80 to his name, and it really has been an inspired knock under pressure
H Masakadza c Amla b Imran Tahir 80 (98m 74b 8x4 2x6)
