Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club v Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, Premier League Tournament Tier A
The P.Saravanamuttu Stadium hosted Sri Lanka's first Test, against England in 1982, and has been a regular on the Test match rota. In 1985, it was the venue for Sri Lanka's first-ever Test win, over India. In 2002 it held a match between Australia and Pakistan have the series was hosted on neutral soil. It is relatively small ground, which is clearly more of a club venue; half surrounded by lower-level stands and half by grass banks. The most famous feature is the ivy-covered scoreboard and in 1948 Don Bradman brought his Australian side to the ground en route to England.
